PETERSBURG, Fla.<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-chron\">Feb. 1, 2022<\/span>\u00a0\/PRNewswire\/ &#8212;\u00a0To kick off Black History Month, Duke Energy Florida today announced a\u00a0<span class=\"xn-money\">$325,000<\/span>\u00a0contribution to the Woodson African American Museum of\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Florida<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 a charitable organization that is devoted to preserving African American history and promoting diversity, equal rights and social justice.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the years, Duke Energy Florida has developed valued relationships with organizations that have the greatest impact on the communities we serve,&#8221; said\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Melissa Seixas<\/span>, Duke Energy Florida state president. &#8220;The Woodson is one of those organizations, and we are proud to support them as they expand their reach and bring even more people together to learn about and celebrate the richness of African American history\u00a0and culture.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Named after Dr.\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Carter G.
